Terms of Service

Last updated: 22 April 2026. By creating an account you agree to these terms.

1. The service

InventorIA ("the Service") is a multi-tenant SaaS for IT asset, contract, license, and people management provided at inventoria-app.com. These terms form a contract between you (or the legal entity you represent — "Customer") and the operator of the Service.

2. Account and workspace

• You must be 18+ and provide accurate registration information.
• You are responsible for the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account.
• A workspace (Company) is created at signup. The creator is the workspace Administrator and is responsible for adding, removing, and managing members.
• You may invite teammates; each invite consumes a seat according to your current plan (see Pricing).

3. Subscription, pricing, and payment

• Plans are Free, Plus (US$79 / user-workspace / month), Pro (US$259 / month), and Enterprise (custom). Annual billing is 10× the monthly rate (two months free).
• Plus/Pro are billed monthly or annually in advance via Stripe. Taxes may apply.
• Free is free — no card required, subject to the caps listed on the pricing page.
• You may upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time from the Subscription page. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds are at our discretion for annual plans cancelled within 14 days and not for monthly plans.
• Failed payments put the workspace in past-due; after 14 days with no successful retry the workspace is downgraded to Free.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to store or transmit unlawful, infringing, or harmful content.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or resell the Service.
• Abuse the AI assistant via automated scripts; the per-user daily quota must not be circumvented.
• Attempt to break tenant isolation, exploit vulnerabilities, or disrupt other customers' workspaces. Security research is welcome — report responsibly to contact@inventoria-app.com.

5. Your data

• You retain ownership of everything you upload to your workspace ("Customer Data").
• We process Customer Data strictly to operate the Service, as described in the Privacy Policy.
• A workspace admin can export the entire workspace as a ZIP (one JSON per table) from the Settings page at any time.
• On account deletion, Customer Data is removed from production within 30 days; encrypted backups rotate out within a further 30 days.

6. AI features

• The Ask-AI assistant ships workspace context (scoped to your role's permissions) to Google's Gemini model via Firebase AI.
• AI responses may contain errors ("hallucinations"). Do not rely on them for compliance, legal, or financial decisions without verification.
• AI usage is counted per-user, per-day: 1 (Free), 50 (Plus), 500 (Pro), unlimited (Enterprise). Resets at 00:00 UTC.

7. Service levels

The Service is provided "as is". We aim for high availability but make no specific uptime guarantee on Free, Plus, or Pro. Enterprise customers may negotiate a written SLA. Scheduled maintenance is announced by email when possible.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including its source code, UI, branding, and documentation, is our intellectual property. You get a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it during your subscription. You retain all rights to your Customer Data.

9. Termination

• You can cancel at any time. Downgrade / termination takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• We may suspend or terminate your account for a serious or repeated breach of these terms, after notice where practicable.
• Upon termination you remain responsible for any outstanding fees; we remain responsible for making Customer Data available for export for 30 days.

10. Disclaimers and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Our aggregate liability for any claim is capped at the fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim. Neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced at least 30 days in advance by email. Continuing to use the Service after the effective date means acceptance.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of France, without regard to conflicts-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be brought exclusively before the competent courts of Paris, unless mandatory consumer-protection law gives you a different venue.
